Colonial feel, with iconic view of the Bridge and the spray from the Victoria Falls. Wildlife in the grounds attractive. Food excellent. Service sometimes poor on the terrace, but the Livingstone Room service was excellent. Rooms comfortable. Security quite obtrusive. Don't leave valuables lying on surfaces or they will be removed by security and you have to arrange for them to be returned. There are warning notices in the rooms which make one think that the hotel staff cannot be trusted. Also threat notices to charge for removed shampoo etc. For one of the Leading Hotels of The World with $300 per night rate, I would expect better.

Went for lunch after we visit the victory falls. This is just one of those place that you have to stop by and try and imagine how the old English came to visit and build this area. With the train track still at the back of the Hotel and old this amazing paintings and old furniture in the place. We loved the experience. Not cheap but with the stop.

It's quite a nice 4 star hotel in a great location. We loved the general style and the room of the hotel. But we were disappointed by the quality of the service. Especially the breakfast couldn't come near the promised standard. There is such a difference between 4 and 5 stars!

Hotel is lovely, Victorian - colonial with statues of British Kings. The view of the bridge is like no other! A wider selection of desserts is needed, and an upgrade of the high tea to the same level as the Nelson Mandela Hotel in Cape Town

I came here, just for a beer while watching the falls from a very unique perspective. It was great to sit and relax and I went into it knowing it was going to be a very expensive beer, which it was. Do not go here if you are looking for something slightly cheaper, but definitely come and have a walk around the estate, it has a very beautiful view of the Falls. and the surrounding wilderness
