merita di essere visitato non d'inverno ma d'estate perché alle 4 viene buio e chiudono. Si visitato le gallerie che si trovano sotto al castello dove c'era l'ospedale per ospitare i feriti di guerra al tempo di Enrico II. Si paga 21£ a persona ma ce la guida che spiega solo in inglese però. Dopodiché di visita il castello liberamente.

A very nice day out with family. It is big and the rooms inside the castle are just beautiful. The view from the top of the castle is amazing. Plenty car park available. Nice and clean. English heritage at its best. Thumbs up.

Iconic piece of Britain's history, looming over and dominating the skyline of Dover, this is well worth the trip and the time to visit. It has a car park in the center of the site, and whilst this means that it can be accessed by those with mobility issues the castle site itself can be a challenge. The site covers all aspects of the history through the millennia, from Roman occupation, to the Cold War. The World War Two tunnels are a must, and worth the wait. The views of Dover and (the french coast on a good day) are also worth the trip. Cafeteria on site, offering a range of drinks, and meals too. Visited the site over a span of two days, as there is so much to do and see here.

Good value for money lots to see and do keep you entertained all day. Had a lovely long day here on 31st October seeing the castle and doing the medieval tunnels, military hospital tour and underground tunnels tour. Lots of steps but also ramps and lifts for disabled. Plenty of places to eat little kiddy train runs around site and gift shops and Christmas gifts available to buy. Glad we decided to visit would definitely recommend.
