Nice place to spend half a day. NB as of 11 November 2017 all restaurants/bars/shops on the island are closed for the winter so you need to bring your own food, and the ferry may only run if there are enough people wanting to go to the island. Return ferry departs as soon as it arrives - they don't wait for the scheduled time of 15 past the hour! Return tickets including entry to the island are 120kn. Buy tickets from a small desk in the middle of the pier. If you can't find the desk it means the ferry is probably not running within the next hour.
Nice place to visit for a half day excursion. Get the boat from the old town port. Included is return journey and island entry fee. Island has peacocks and rabbits running wild. Watch out with the peacocks as they stole some people's food right out of their hands. There are a couple of restaurants, and some ruins, plus the replica of the iron throne. The "dead sea" is a good spot to cool off. Most of the island is covered with trees so it's cooler and more shaded than the mainland.
A lovely site to look at. Don't need to spend a whole day here unless you want to just relax on the coast of the island. Not much to see. Plenty of islands. Plot twist. If you like game of thrones then there's a throne on this island in the tourist center
